Day 50: Candy is dandy.

Day 49: Today is a better day than yesterday. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better than today. And so on and so forth. I have snuggly cats, a patient Michael, and caring friends. Life is good.

forty-eight hours later, the sun is breaking

Day 48: I've worn my Michael down with all my whining. Poor Michael.

Day 47: I really shouldn't be sitting upright right now, but oh, well. I'm going to take another semi-loopy pill and go to bed. Fun. (In other words: The surgery went well, but I don't feel very well right now... crampy... sore throat / dry mouth... sleepy time.)

Day 45: I wore my spiffy new clearance belt today, plus my nifty scarf my buddy Beth (aka: Biff) knitted for me.

Day 38: I got some Snuggle Time in with O'Malley tonight. Other than that, I've just been kinda droopy lately. It's only 8:00-ish, and I feel like going to bed already. Check out that bag under my right eye. That sums it up.

Day 37: This morning, as I was half-asleep and fumbling for the alarm clock to hit the snooze button, I somehow managed to stab myself in the mouth with my fingernail. I bloodied my top lip and made a little cut below the bottom one. What can I say? I'm clutzy.

Day 36: My buddy Brianne gave me this shirt. It's comfortable. And it's pink. It's definitely a Kodak moment to catch me wearing hot pink.

Day 35: I survived the weekend. Who would have thought a crafts fair could be so exhausting?

Day 34: Apparently, children who paint faces (or hands, in this case) at little booths at craft fairs don't know what monkeys look like. The one on my right hand ended up looking like a cat, and the one on the left looked more like a bear. Don't people take their kids to the zoo anymore? *sigh*
