one one one... one vision

Day 111: My mother made me this fleece bathroom for Xmas. It has Peanuts characters all over it and extra-soft white fleecy stuff around the edges. And it's toasty warm. Makes me a happy girl.

Day111

Friday, December 30, 2005

driving down the highway, going a hundred and ten

Day 110: I'm totally rockin' the Thor lyric today. That man has an obsession with going 110 miles per hour. I can't explain it.

Day110

must be a hundred and nine

Day 109: I just personalized and addressed/labeled over 50 cards. And I'm still not done. I just want to go to bed now, please?

Day109

Tuesday, December 27, 2005

Monday, December 26, 2005

Sunday, December 25, 2005

run your fever to one hundred and five

Day 105: Happy Xmas! Michael and I spent today in Soddy-Daisy and Chattanooga with my family, and it was lots of fun. I ate way too much, but my Memaw insists that I'm starving myself. Go figure. :^)

Day105

the cadillac moved to a hundred and four

Day 104: Jennifer in Michael's eyes on Xmas Eve.

Day104

Saturday, December 24, 2005

got a fever of a hundred and three

Day 103: I'm through with shopping. No shopping for me tomorrow. Or the day after that. Or the day after that. Thank goodness.

Day103

Thursday, December 22, 2005

Wednesday, December 21, 2005

there's one hundred and one little reasons why

Day 101: Is it time to sleep yet? If so, I would like a large order of happy dreams with one or two kitty cats thrown in and a side of warm toes, please. Thanks.

Day101

Sunday, December 18, 2005

a weakling weighing ninety-eight pounds

Day 98: I cleaned today, and now our apartment doesn't stink. It's a good thing, too, because our quasi-autistic friend Jack came over to visit tonight. (just kidding on the autistic part!... inside joke) We had broccoli and tater tots, and it was scrum-diddly-umptious.

Day98

Saturday, December 17, 2005

you can watch old ninety-seven roll

Day 97: Due to some mild interest expressed about my bouncy ball collection, I busted it out tonight and counted 'em. I've got 267 in the glass thingy on the bar, and a few more (probably 15 to 20) in my car. I'm getting close to 300. I'm very excited about that.

Day97B

you're gonna cry ninety-six tears

Day 96: I'm still sick. My nose is chapped. There's nastiness dripping down the back of my throat. I'm cramping. And all I ate today was some peanuts, a chocolate-dipped waffle cone with raspberry sorbet, and a little piece of bread. I feel like I might puke at any second.

Day96

Thursday, December 15, 2005

he's got ninety-five white persian monkeys

Day 95: I'm sickly, but feeling better than I did earlier today. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. It can't get much worse than today.

Day95

must have been touching close to ninety-four

Day 94:
We had Xmas tonight with Michael's family, and I got some spiffy new monkey apparel. If I wasn't sick, I'd be jumping up and down and squeaking. But, instead, I'm sitting here drinking Alka-Seltzer. Note the package of it in my right hand and the mug of water behind me. This was moments before the "plop, plop, fizz, fizz," and I'm still waiting for the "oh, what a relief it is" part.

Day94

Wednesday, December 14, 2005

in this song, I say "fuck" ninety-three times

Day 93: Okay, so I'm running short on lyrics with numbers in them. This is the best I could do, people. Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm going to go celebrate the holidays with my three-legged bear...

Day93

Tuesday, December 13, 2005

to kids from one to ninety-two

Day 92: I finished all 4 pillow tops for the pillows I'm making my father-in-law Joe for Xmas. Whew! Now, I just have to make them into actual pillows... (I took this picture by putting the camera over the edge of one of the blades on my ceiling fan, so it's a little grainy. The dust I stirred up is upsetting my sinuses. :^P)

Day92

Sunday, December 11, 2005

going ninety miles an hour down a dead end street

Day 90: I just finished sorting through the pictures from my NYC trip, and I'm pooped. It's bedtime.

Day90

Sunday, December 04, 2005

nineteen eighty-four, who could ask for more?

Day 84: I haven't left the apartment all day. I've been loafing around in my pajamas and Michael's grey fleece robe. Aren't I a vision of glamour? ha!

Day84

Saturday, December 03, 2005

imagine me eighty-three, wearing glasses

Day 83: What a long, fun day. I seem to have lost my attention span. I'm not sure where it ran off to, but I'm going to have to find it tomorrow morning, or I'll never get anything constructive done.

Day83

Friday, December 02, 2005

eighty-two laws through eighty-two doors

Day 82: Traffic was hell tonight. And now, I'm hopping in the car again to go be social with the family...

Day82

Thursday, December 01, 2005

about number eighty-one

Day 81: I forgot to eat a meal yesterday... and today (till around dinner time tonight). Could someone please remind me to eat tomorrow? I might forget again.

Day81

Tuesday, November 29, 2005

struck the trail in seventy-nine

Day 79: I gorged myself on fondue tonight. Mmmmm... dark chocolate fondue. I'm a happy girl.

Day79

when I found you that summer of seventy-eight

Day 78: I took a shower, and I'm spiffy clean. I hate taking showers, but I do enjoy being spiffy clean.

Day78

Monday, November 28, 2005

Saturday, November 26, 2005

Friday, November 25, 2005

seventy-five golden camels

Day 75: I got Snuggle Time with the kittens today. It was nice. Now, it's Karaoke Time! Off to the bar with my dad, Uncle Eddie, and Aunt Wilma... If I'm lucky, my brother might show up, too.

Day75

Thursday, November 24, 2005

Tuesday, November 22, 2005

at seventy-two, but not now

Day 72: Here I am, hiding behind my hair, looking like a psychopath. Take it or leave it. I got nothin.'

Day72

Monday, November 21, 2005

Saturday, November 19, 2005

life can be fine if we both sixty-nine

Day 69: The left shoulder devil (monkey) and the right shoulder angel (Yoda) had a discussion as to what I should name this post. Yoda: "There are plenty of song lyrics out there with the number '69' used in tasteful reference to the year 1969. Use one of those." Monkey: "Oh, c'mon now. You can't pass up an opportunity to use a Monty Python quote!" As you can see, the monkey won.

Day69

Friday, November 18, 2005

...fifty-four, fifty-eight, sixty-four, sixty-eight...

Day 68: I caught part of a special presentation tonight on NBC. It was about John Lennon's death, and they mentioned the 25th anniversary memorial at Strawberry Fields in Central Park that I'm going to next month. Since the summer of 1997, I've promised myself that I would go to this year's memorial. I'm sure it will be sad, but I will enjoy the music and being with other fans. It's going to make me an immensely happy girl to be there. (Yes, the numbers in the title are song lyrics. It's a reference from Björk's "107 Steps" from Dancer in the Dark, my very favorite bawl-your-eyes-out movie.)

Day68

it was good in sixty-seven

Day 67: Note O'Malley blurring past in the background...

Day67

Tuesday, November 15, 2005

at sixty-five years old, my mother, god rest her soul

Day 65: Yes, it's Photoshopped. Low lighting + old digital camera = graininess that needs to be camouflaged somehow.

Day65

Monday, November 14, 2005

will you still feed me, when I'm sixty-four?

Day 64: What was the term Penny once used?... Oh, yes. I remember. "Rapid cycling." It hits the nail on the head.

Day64

what a night, late December back in sixty-three

Day 63: Brianne, Katherina's Michael, and I went to see Ben Folds at the Ryman tonight. It was spectacular. I'm a happy girl.

Day63

Saturday, November 12, 2005

letters by his bed dated nineteen sixty-two

Day 62: We cooked out tonight, but didn't camp. That's okay, though. It's friggin' cold outside, and I got to snuggle some more with the kittens.
